OUR BABY BOY IS HERE!

Sorry I've been missing in action but for some exciting news...my family and I are proud to welcome our new bundle of joy.  Treyton joined the family on March 22 @ 1:23 A.M. - 7#7ozs!  It's crazy that he is already 4 weeks old...they grow way too fast! :(  I'm hoping to get some time to upload some pages that I have put together for his scrapbook.  I've also been working on a scrapbook for my nephew who is now 7.  I'll keep you posted!

Liebster Blog Award

First and Foremost, I want to thank Krafty Kim for awarding me the Liebster Blog Award!  Who would've thought!!!  She has made some adorable projects that are well worth your time checking out (the crayon's for valentines...what a neat idea)!

Here are the rules for the Liebster Blog Award.
1.  It is a blog award handed over to your favorite five blogs, that have less than 100 followers.
2.  The award is passed on to the five, by commenting on their blog and telling them that their blog is one of your favorites and this is how you are chosen for the Liebster Blog Award.
3.  The one who receives the award posts a link back to the person who gave them the award, and five of their favorite blogs (you can choose the person who sent you the award if you wish) with less than one hundred followers.  My five are:

Dino-Mite! Birthday Card

Hi Everyone...here is a card that I made for our nephew's 5th birthday!
The card base is cut out of yellow cardstock at 11.25" X 4.25".  Score and fold the card base at 3" and 8.5"

I cut the following items with my Cricut and assembled:
Palm Tree - Create A Critter - Pg. 51 at 2.75"
Dinosaur - Create A Critter - Pg. 50 at 3.25" (Shadow, Reg., Layer 2 & 3) and hid the face using the Gypsy
Grass - Paper Doll Dress Up - Pg. 78 at 1" (Shift/tab feature)
Volcano - Create A Critter - Pg. 50 at 1.5" (Shadow, Reg., Layer 2)

The inside mat is cut at 5.25" X 4" and the Dino Mite Stamp is from My Pink Stampers Punnylicious Stamp set using Close To My Heart Orange Ink.

Baby Tag Journal

One of my son's daycare teacher's is having a baby at the end of April so I wanted to make a little something special that my son can give to her.  This is a Baby Tag Journal using Tags Bags Boxes and More Cricut cartridge (This is not my original idea).
I used my Gypsy to cut:
6 Tags (page 90 of TBBM) at 5.65"
6 Folders (page 113 of TBBM - Blackout Feature) at 11.35"
2 Covers (page 113 of TBBM - Blackout Feature) at 11.35" - The covers are the same as the folders only you can cut it in half and only use the front half (the half with no score marks).
Once your items are cut out, score and fold on the lines provided and use a good permanent adhesive (I used scor-tape to adhere the folders).

I used my cinch to bind the book but you can punch two holes on the left side and just use loose leaf rings.

Lastly, decorate and embellish to your liking!
Hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Bath Time Scrapbook Layout

Here's another scrapbook page that I made for Baby #2!  I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the baby, bathtub, and bubbles.  The baby's face is stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps - Everyday Character Face and the accenting is all done with my white Gelly Roll pen!  Hope you enjoy.

Baby Shower Card

Here's my first craft video.  I made a card for a baby shower that I am attending tomorrow.  I will be entering this card into the Peach Keen Stamp Challenge.
I hope you enjoy.

The card looked kind of blah, so I added some stitching and bling to dress it up!
